Craig is Head of Marketing at Greenvale AP. His responsibilities include public relations and promotion. He joined Greenvale at the beginning of 2004. Greenvale provides potatoes; seed potatoes to farmers, grown potatoes to major retailers, wholesalers and food manufacturers, dehydrated potato flakes to food manufacturers and support to farmers growing potatoes.
Craig was born and bred in the Potteries and has never left the area. He completed a degree Business Studies at Stafford University and joined the Reward Group providing information about how much companies paid their staff. When the company was taken over he became part of a large marketing department providing Human Relations Services. He found the jump from marketing HR services to potatoes a very different experience. The Greenvale packing site at Stoke Heath is very much in the countryside which he enjoys. Staff are established and experienced. He travels between the Greenvale sites and liases with the customers. The industry would appear to be slow moving but the pressure comes from the many facets of production. He is working on a project to dig up the potatoes one day and get them into the supermarkets the next.
